- Joining the mess is compulsory for the hostlers. Mess charges will be paid in advance every month by the 10th of every month. Defaulters will pay fine at the rate of Rs.20-per day.
- Mess charges will be fixed at the time of start of session. One month’s mess money will have to be paid security and will be refunded on completion of the course.
- Mess charges will be collected quarterly I advance on the beginning of quarter. The amount of quarter to be deposited shall be intimated t the time of admission.
- Students should not carry crockery/ cutlery or utensils from the dining hall to their rooms.
- Meals will be serve in the dining hall only.
- Meal Timings: The meal timing will be as follows:-

| For night duty students | upto 9.30 A.M. |
| Lunch | 12.00 Noon to 2 P.M. |
| Evening Tea | 4 P.M. to 5.30 P.M. |
| Dinner | 7 P.M. to 8 P.M. |
- Students should come to the dining hall properly dressed (e.g. open hairs, nightees are not allowed).
- No cooking is permitted in the rooms.
- Dealing of the students with the employees of the hostel should be courteous and polite. Students should not argue with them. Complaint if any against them should be made to the Hostel Warden.
- Students on night duty will keep their Tiffin Boxes packed for dinner/lunch.
- Spacious refrigerator is available in the mess.
